These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mmntm platform ("Platform"), operated by mmntm ("we", "us", "our") in the Kingdom of Bahrain. (Company registration is in progress; our commercial registration number and registered address will be added here once incorporation is complete.) By creating an account or using the Platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.
Early Access. mmntm is currently in Early Access. The Platform is still being built, so features, pricing, and policies may change, and you may encounter bugs, errors, or interruptions. It is provided on a best-effort basis, and we are not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or incomplete features during this phase. Please report anything that looks wrong to support@mmntm.social.
1. What mmntm Is
mmntm is a platform that introduces venue and hospitality businesses ("Businesses") to content creators ("Creators"). Businesses publish campaigns; Creators reserve a slot, attend in person, and publish social content as described in the campaign brief.
The arrangement is between the Business and the Creator. mmntm is not a party to it. We do not employ Creators, we do not act as anyone's agent, and we are not present at the venue. We provide the introduction, the booking record and the tools around it — what happens during a visit is between the two of you.
We are open about the limits of that. We do decide who may join the Platform, we set the rules below, and we can remove anyone. Those are our decisions and we stand behind them. They are not a promise about any Business, any Creator, any venue or any campaign outcome, and they are not supervision of what happens when you meet.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 to register a Business account, and at least 21 to register as a Creator. By registering you confirm that the information you give us is accurate, current and complete, and that the social account you provide is yours.
3. Account Registration and Approval
Creator accounts are approved by an automated check, run after your email address is confirmed. It reads your public social profile and approves the account if that profile is public and at or above a minimum follower count we set. If it is private, below that minimum, or cannot be found, the account is rejected and we email you the reason. You may correct the problem and be checked again — see section 4 of our Privacy Policy for your right to ask a person to review that decision.
Business accounts are approved by an automated check of the commercial registration number you give us against the public register, and are approved where that registration is current and matches the details you gave us. Anything else is held for a person to review.
We may approve, reject, suspend or revoke any account at our discretion, with or without notice. Approval is never permanent and says nothing about a user beyond the checks described here.
4. Your Responsibilities to Each Other
Businesses are responsible for their venue and everything in it. That includes holding every licence and permit required to operate — including for the service of alcohol where applicable — meeting health, safety, fire and food-hygiene obligations, carrying whatever insurance the law or good sense requires, and the conduct of your staff. You are responsible for honouring the offer in your brief to every Creator who attends.
Creators are responsible for their own conduct and their own content. That includes attending safely and lawfully, following the venue's rules while you are there, and complying with advertising-disclosure law — you must clearly mark campaign content as an advertisement, gift or paid partnership wherever the platform you post on and Bahraini law require it. That obligation is yours; mmntm does not make the disclosure for you and is not responsible if you omit it.
Each of you is responsible for your own taxes. Nothing you receive through the Platform is paid with tax withheld or reported on your behalf.
Disputes between a Business and a Creator are between them. We are not the arbiter of what happened at a venue and we do not adjudicate compensation. We may act on our own rules — removing an account, recording a reliability failure — but that is a decision about Platform access, not a ruling on your dispute.
5. Attending in Person
Campaigns happen at real venues, and some are late-night, 21+ and serve alcohol. You attend at your own risk. mmntm does not run the venue, is not present, does not supply food or drink, and does not vet venue staff or other guests. You are responsible for your own safety, for getting there and home, and for your own decisions while you are there — including about alcohol.
Reserving a slot for a 21+ campaign means you confirm you are 21 or over and are willing to attend that kind of campaign. You may decline any campaign for any reason, and you may leave at any time.
Age on the Platform is self-declared. We record the date of birth you type and refuse a Creator account under 21, but we do not check identity documents and we cannot confirm that anyone is the age they claim. The Business remains responsible for checking age and identity at its door wherever the law requires it, and for refusing service where it must — that duty is not shifted to mmntm by anything shown on a Creator's profile or booking.
If something happens at a venue — you are treated badly, you feel unsafe, or you are hurt — tell us at info@mmntm.social. We can remove a Business from the Platform, and we will where it is warranted. We cannot compensate you for it, and an emergency is a matter for the emergency services, not for us.
6. Business Obligations
- Provide accurate campaign information: date, time, venue, and what is actually being offered.
- Buy tokens up front and hold enough of them to cover a campaign before it is activated.
- Honour the offer in the brief to attending Creators.
- Do not discriminate against Creators on grounds prohibited by Bahraini law.
- Do not require content that is false, misleading, or that misrepresents a Creator's genuine experience.
7. Creator Obligations
- Attend in person during your reserved slot. Failing to attend without cancelling at least 24 hours ahead is recorded as a reliability failure.
- Publish content that is authentic, accurate, and consistent with the brief.
- Keep content live for at least 24 hours after posting unless the brief says otherwise.
- Do not misrepresent your attendance, your follower count, or your engagement.
- Use only a social account that belongs to you.
- Comply with all applicable law, including advertising disclosure.
8. Reliability and Restrictions
Creators who repeatedly fail to attend, cancel inside 24 hours, or submit non-compliant content may have their reliability status downgraded, and accounts may be restricted or banned. We do not guarantee any Creator a minimum number of campaign opportunities, and we do not guarantee any Business a minimum number of attending Creators.
9. Tokens, Payments and Refunds
All prices are in Bahraini Dinars (BHD). Only Businesses pay us, and only for tokens. Creators never pay mmntm anything — there is no fee, subscription or commission to join, to reserve a slot, or to take part in a campaign.
A token is prepaid credit for our own services — nothing more. Buying tokens pays mmntm in advance for campaigns you will run with us. It is a purchase, not a deposit: the money is ours once paid, we are not holding it for you or for anyone else, and a token is not money, currency, stored value, or a thing that can be sold or transferred to another person.
A token purchase is final. We do not refund a purchase to a card, a bank account or any other payment method, and tokens cannot be exchanged for cash.
Tokens are deducted from your balance when a campaign goes live, not when it finishes. They are credited back to your token balance automatically, and only, in these cases: the campaign fails to launch; you cancel a campaign before any Creator has delivered on it, which returns the whole amount; or, on an instant call, the per-spot tokens for spots nobody claimed. Once any Creator has delivered on a campaign, cancelling it returns nothing — the work was done. A campaign that reaches fewer people than you hoped is not a refund case; see our Policies, which form part of these Terms.
Most campaigns pay a Creator nothing in money: the benefit is the offer the Business provides, and that offer is the Business's obligation, not ours. Where a campaign does carry a cash payout to the Creator — our Select product line — the amount is shown on the assignment before it is accepted and is payable on the terms stated with it. We do not withhold tax from it.
We do not process card payments and we do not store card details.
10. Content
You keep ownership of your content. By submitting story links or other content through the Platform, Creators grant mmntm and the relevant Business a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reference or share that content in the context of the campaign.
You are responsible for what you post. You confirm that your content is yours to publish, that it does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, and that it does not defame anyone or breach any law. Content published on Instagram, TikTok or any other platform is also subject to that platform's own rules, which are between you and them.
11. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false information at any stage of registration or campaign participation.
- Use a social account that is not your own, or inflate your figures.
- Attempt to circumvent the check-in or proof submission system.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Interfere with the technical operation of the Platform.
- Harass, threaten, or harm any other user.
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify mmntm against any claim, loss, or cost — including reasonable legal fees — brought by a third party and arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, your conduct at or in connection with a campaign, or your failure to hold a licence, permit or insurance you were required to hold.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause or notice. Creators can delete their own account at any time from the profile page in the app; you may also close your account by contacting us at info@mmntm.social. When an account is deleted, your login and personal details are removed, while records from campaigns you took part in are retained in anonymised form for compliance history. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before it.
14. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We do not verify, endorse or vouch for any Business, any venue, or the safety, quality or legality of anything offered at one. We do not verify a Creator beyond the checks described in section 3 — an approved account means that check passed, nothing more. We do not guarantee any commercial outcome, any level of reach, or any level of attendance.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, mmntm is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.
We are also not liable for the acts or omissions of any user: what a Business does or fails to do at its venue, what a Creator does, posts or fails to post, injury or loss occurring during a visit, or any dispute between users. Those are matters between the people involved.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or BHD 50 if you paid us nothing.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Bahraini law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, or for fraud.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
